The actress, known for her outspoken social media presence, made the remarks while reacting to prevailing socio-political concerns in Nigeria. Her post quickly gained traction, drawing both support and criticism across digital platforms.

Yvonne Jegede said there are three types of Tinubu supporters, beginning with what she described as those who have “already accepted” the situation but feel trapped by circumstances or personal ties.

According to her, this group understands the challenges in the country but remains unable to disengage due to loyalty or obligations.

She further identified a second group as “believers”, describing them as individuals who remain hopeful that conditions will improve over time, possibly within another political cycle.

The actress also described a third category in her commentary, which she labelled as “delusional”, stating that such individuals, in her view, are detached from reality and require concern and reflection.

“The delusional ones – these ones live in a bubble. These ones? Just be praying for them, when you’re praying for people in the psychiatric wards, include them,” she wrote.

Her comments have since generated mixed reactions online, with supporters praising her candour while critics accused her of using inflammatory language in discussing political sentiments.
