Veteran Nigerian musician Baba Fryo has shared his thoughts on the breakup between music legend 2Baba and actress Annie Idibia.

Speaking on The Honest Bunch podcast, he said the failure of both celebrities to balance their entertainment lifestyles led to their separation.

The Baba Fryo on 2Baba separation commentary suggested that the pressures of the industry strained the relationship.

“2Face and his ex-wife didn’t manage themselves well. They are both entertainers,” Fryo said. “In marriage, the woman is supposed to provide balance. But if the man drinks and the woman also drinks, who will watch over the other?”

He argued that mutual indulgence in bad habits can lead to insecurity, prompting some to seek peace elsewhere.

The singer also claimed to have known 2Baba’s current partner, Natasha, since she was a child. “I carried Natasha when she was three,” he revealed.

While distancing himself from infidelity, Fryo noted that men often gravitate toward women who present emotional or behavioural contrast at home.
