Taye Arimoro Demands Justice Over Assault Allegations

Taye Arimoro demands public apology and N100 million over alleged assault on set, citing emotional trauma and breach of personal rights

In a dramatic turn of events, Taye Arimoro has threatened legal action against his colleague Peggy Ovire, demanding a public apology and N100 million in compensation following an alleged assault on a movie set.

According to reports, the incident unfolded when Taye Arimoro attempted to leave the set after his contracted working hours had ended. Allegedly, Peggy Ovire’s team blocked his car and deflated the tyres, preventing him from leaving.

Taye shared a viral video documenting his injuries, which included bleeding gums and lips, and accused Peggy and her crew of a violent attack.

However, Peggy Ovire has denied the claims, insisting that Taye Arimoro was the aggressor. She stated that he assaulted two crew members, including her driver, who reportedly suffered ear bleeding.

Adding further complexity, CCTV footage later emerged, appearing to contradict Peggy’s version. The footage reportedly shows Peggy removing her wig and preparing to confront Taye physically.

Taye’s legal team argues that his rights to personal liberty, movement, and dignity were violated. They assert that he is seeking damages for emotional trauma, psychological stress, and loss of earnings due to the incident.

In a social media post, Taye Arimoro warned: “@peggyovire, PRE-ACTION NOTICE. In light of the incident referenced in this correspondence, you have been served. Kindly forward all responses to my solicitors as indicated.”

Peggy Ovire has been given a seven-day ultimatum to respond to the allegations or risk further legal proceedings.
