Tacha Guinness World Record triumph confirmed as she breaks two records in one attempt, completing 82 makeovers in 8 hours and 144 in 24 hours.
Tacha Guinness World Record triumph has been officially confirmed, with the reality star and beauty influencer making history as the first Nigerian to secure two Guinness World Records in a single attempt.
According to the confirmation by Guinness World Records, Symply Tacha achieved the remarkable feat in Lagos, completing 82 makeovers in 8 hours and 144 makeovers in 24 hours — setting two new global benchmarks in the process.
The BBNaija alum, visibly emotional, described the achievement as a divine breakthrough and paid tribute to her late mother, saying she felt her presence throughout the gruelling marathon. “My mummy in heaven, you did it! I felt you holding my shoulders when my knees were shaking,” she wrote on Instagram.
In her celebratory post, Tacha praised her team and assistant makeup artists for standing by her during what she called “the toughest yet most fulfilling 24 hours” of her life. She recalled battling power outages, storm damage, and exhaustion — but refusing to give up.
“When the lights went out, you stayed. When the pressure got loud, you listened. When I snapped, you understood the big assignment,” she wrote. “You smiled, talked, cried, and hyped the f*ck outta me till the very last second. We didn’t just work — we warred.”
The Tacha Guinness World Record accomplishment has drawn admiration from fans and fellow celebrities, with many hailing her perseverance, discipline, and authenticity.
Addressing her loyal supporters, the “Titans,” she expressed deep gratitude for their unwavering belief in her journey. “When the world wrote me off, when I was blacklisted for being real, tough, and unapologetic, you held me up. Because you don’t stop, I will never stop,” she said.
Tacha also reflected on her struggles and the grace that carried her through sleepless nights, swollen feet, and the endless documentation required for Guinness World Records verification. “People see the headline; God and I know the trenches. The sleepless nights. The generator hums. The prayers at 3am. And then grace — grace that does not lie.”
Ending on a powerful note, she encouraged dreamers never to quit, saying, “If you don’t have haters, pray for haters — they’ll push you into purpose. While you hate, I chase destiny… and win.”
With her Guinness World Record success now official, Tacha announced plans to celebrate the milestone at her upcoming birthday party, which she teased as “the best gift secured.”
