Tacha Guinness World Record attempt has made headlines, as the Nigerian reality TV star and entrepreneur completed an astounding 145 makeovers in 24 hours, setting her sights on the global beauty hall of fame.

The ambitious record-breaking event was held at the John Randle Centre for Yoruba Culture & History in Lagos, drawing support from high-profile guests including Alex Unusual, Toke Makinwa, Ice Prince, and Lagos State Tourism Special Adviser Idris Aregbe.

Despite a temporary power outage and minor technical glitches, Tacha’s resilience, precision, and speed shone through as she powered through the day-long challenge.

Each makeover featured models of varying skin tones and body types, all professionally styled and photographed during the Tacha Beauty Festival.

“This was about celebrating Nigerian creativity, beauty, and consistency,” said Tacha, who shot to fame after her appearance on Big Brother Naija Season 4.

The feat is currently under review by Guinness World Records, which must validate each transformation before the title can be officially awarded.

Throughout the event, each model was documented via professional headshots and runway showcases, ensuring compliance with the record’s stringent requirements. The atmosphere was electric as fans, media, and celebrities cheered Tacha on.

She revealed earlier that she chose Nigeria over the UK for the record attempt to highlight the talent and spirit of Nigerian women within the global beauty industry.

“It was important for me to do this on Nigerian soil. Our beauty industry is booming, and Nigerian women deserve to be celebrated on the world stage,” she said.
