Quiet gardens, shaded roofs, and secret benches across LASUSTECH provide peaceful getaways, spark creativity, and foster friendships.

Kazeem Wasiu, popularly called Oladimeji, Head of the Department of Business Administration and a 300-level student, revealed how the Blue Roof in front of the Old Business Administration block became his safe space.

“That was the first place I sat when I resumed 100 level because I was shy to enter the crowded classroom,” he recalled.

What began as a retreat for an introverted student has become a hub for group study sessions, executive meetings, and even games. For Kazeem, it’s proof that all work and no play makes a dull student.

For Oshuniran Sheriff, a 300-level Mass Communication student, his special corner lies opposite the library in the Art and Design department. “It has a unique vibe that many may miss,” he said.

The garden and fresh breeze help him clear his thoughts and fuel his creativity, especially for his podcast projects. Sheriff’s story underscores how LASUSTECH hidden spots not only comfort but also inspire.

On the Isolo campus, Comrade Lamino Abduganiu Oloruntosin from the Department of Office and Information Management cherishes a stone seat under a tree behind his department block.

Though quiet, it becomes alive during exam periods as students revise and bond. For him, the serene atmosphere doubles as the perfect photography backdrop, capturing candid moments of campus life.
