The extension is aimed at UTME and Direct Entry applicants who selected LASUSTECH as their first-choice institution but missed the original verification period held from July 21 to July 25, 2025.

The extended registration period now runs from Friday, August 15 to Friday, August 22, 2025.

The verification interview is scheduled for Monday, August 25, 2025.

To qualify for the verification exercise, candidates must:

  • Be of Lagos State origin
  • Have scored at least 195 in the 2025 UTME
  • Have selected LASUSTECH as first choice, or be applying through Direct Entry

A non-refundable fee of ₦5,000 is required and must be paid only through the official LASUSTECH portal.

The university has warned against using third-party or unauthorized payment platforms.

LASUSTECH clarified that participation in the State of Origin Verification Exercise (SOVE) is a mandatory part of the admission process for Lagos State indigenes, but it does not guarantee admission.

Only candidates who are verified and cleared by the State of Origin Verification Committee (SOVC) will be eligible to proceed to the POST UTME screening stage.

The extension was announced in a statement signed by Registrar David Ogungbe.
