The petition, submitted to the Delta State Police Command, accuses Stanley Ontop of persistent defamation spanning more than two years.

Frederick Leonard had earlier shared the petition publicly, vowing to pursue the matter through legal channels.

Reacting on Sunday, Stanley Ontop said he had not received any formal invitation from the police concerning the complaint, casting doubt on the immediacy of the claims against him.

The filmmaker, however, made it clear that he was prepared to defend himself if summoned, warning that the dispute could escalate into a courtroom battle.

In a post shared on Instagram, Stanley Ontop wrote that he was awaiting official communication from law enforcement and expressed confidence in his position, declaring that the matter would ultimately be resolved through the courts.
