Evan Okoro’s Marriage Crisis escalates as actress claims life threats from husband, files police report, and pleads publicly for safety and support

Evan Okoro Marriage Crisis has taken a troubling turn as the award-winning Nollywood actress made a public plea for help, alleging her life is under threat from her husband, Prince Chibuzor Nwachimelueze.

In a viral video shared online, Okoro emotionally disclosed her intention to leave the marriage, citing repeated threats from her husband, who she says warned her he would kill her if she ever attempted to walk away.

“My life is more important to me. I’m living in fear. Something strong is happening to me,” she said tearfully.

The couple had their traditional wedding on April 13, 2025, in Okoro’s hometown.

However, the actress now claims the union has been nothing short of traumatic. According to her, she has already filed a police petition against her husband.

She revealed that no bride price has been paid, and her family recently contacted him to resolve the issue.

Okoro further alleged that her husband entered the marriage under false pretenses, believing she was financially wealthy because of her home, which she built before their union.

“This guy married me thinking I have money to spend. I thought it was love,” she added.

Okoro also disclosed that the couple has not been intimate since their wedding, and her complaints to his family were ignored. She warned that any harm to her or her family should be taken seriously.
