In a heartfelt message shared on her Instagram story, Taylor explained that she’s been battling vocal issues silently but can no longer ignore the discomfort.

“That’s been messing with my voice and causing real discomfort. Thankfully, we caught it and it’s treatable,” she wrote.

The singer noted that the diagnosis requires emergency surgery and has led her to cancel several scheduled appearances, including a highly anticipated guest spot on Michelle Obama’s podcast this weekend.

Taylor expressed deep gratitude to her fans, saying:

Despite the setback, Taylor confirmed her upcoming album, ‘Escape Room’, will still be released on August 22, 2025, featuring 22 tracks.
