The actor shared his reaction in a video posted on his Facebook page on Thursday while at the fan festival for the Group K clash between DR Congo and Portugal.

In the video, Ikedieze quickly converted the fee into naira, telling his followers: “People who have come to watch match, not even in the stadium. This is just the outside, this is where they put big screens. Do you know how much they are charging us? $30, that’s about 40,000.”

He compared the experience to viewing centres in Nigeria, noting that despite the cost, the atmosphere felt authentic.

“It still feels like you are in the stadium. It’s like a viewing centre in Nigeria,” he said.

Ikedieze also expressed amazement at the heavy security and parking fees.

“Police are everywhere. The car park here is $30, bro. $30 to come and watch a game. This is America,” he added.
