Deacon Famous drags Ekene Umenwa for allegedly threatening him and his wife, sharing WhatsApp chats and details of her alleged backbiting

Nollywood actor and skit maker Deacon Famous has publicly called out his former best friend, actress Ekene Umenwa, accusing her of a series of alleged betrayals.

In a video released on social media, Deacon Famous claimed Ekene Umenwa threatened him and even contacted his spiritual mother multiple times to deliver warnings. He shared WhatsApp chats to support his claims.

He alleged that Ekene body-shamed him in front of his wife, claimed he married his wife for US citizenship, and disparaged her age.

He further accused her of spreading lies that led to lost professional opportunities.
