With over two decades at the heart of Nigeria’s music evolution, Foster remains a driving force behind Afrobeats’ rise from Lagos studios to global airwaves.
Known for engineering chart-topping hits and elevating stars like Wizkid, Davido, P-Square, Kizz Daniel, and Femi Kuti, Zeeno Foster’s impact has been both technical and cultural.
His ability to blend local rhythms with cutting-edge sound design has helped shape the powerful identity of modern African music.

Born Ewomazeeno Ajos Foster on April 8, 1971, in Lagos, Zeeno’s early love for music and tech led him to Anajat International Computer Institute, where he honed his engineering skills.
By the 1990s, he was already blending African beats with modern production tools—laying the foundation for today’s Afrobeats sound.
His contributions were formally recognized in 2015 when he won the Beatz Award for Nigeria’s Best Mixing and Mastering Engineer.
Beyond fame, Zeeno is dedicated to mentoring young African engineers.
Through workshops and partnerships with groups like SABC, he’s helping sustain the industry’s growth.
Looking ahead, Zeeno Foster remains bullish on the genre’s future.
