Yusuf ends his romance with Bells again on BBNaija S11, telling Big Brother he no longer wants an intimate relationship

On Tuesday, 15 September 2026, Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Yusuf told Big Brother he was ending his romantic relationship with fellow housemate Bells for a second time.

Yusuf said Bells had again spoken in public about private moments between them. He pointed to an Arena game in which Bells repeated a joke involving him and housemate Keivo.

Yusuf said he and Keivo had first made the joke privately, and that hearing Bells repeat it left him uncomfortable.

“I genuinely feel like my identity is not safe with her,” Yusuf told Big Brother. He said he had already warned Bells about airing such comments and that she had promised to work on it.

The latest incident, he said, convinced him that little had changed. “She has reinforced my lack of trust in her to work on things like this.” Yusuf added: “I do not want to be intimately or romantically involved with her anymore.”

He said he still valued Bells and liked having her around, calling her an “amazing person” aside from the issue that keeps causing friction.

He proposed that they stay friends rather than continue a romance that, in his view, left him open to public embarrassment.

The pair have been one of the season’s most watched storylines.

They grew close, split, reconciled and later confirmed intimacy on a Live Show, a revelation that surprised Bells and fuelled fresh argument about what the relationship really was.

Yusuf had already tried to end the romance earlier in the season before they got back together.
