Wizkid’s first baby mama, Shola Ogudu, warns fans against calling her the singer’s wife, calling the comments harmful and delusional on social media

Shola Ogudu wife claims have resurfaced online, prompting a stern response from the mother of Wizkid’s first child. She has publicly appealed to a persistent social media user to stop addressing her as the singer’s wife, calling such messages delusional and harmful.

Ogudu used her verified X account to express displeasure over repeated comments that seem harmless to some but are emotionally distressing to her.

One user in particular has been leaving a recurring message that reads, “Iyawo Ibrahim! Every day is a holiday!” under several of her posts.

In a rare move, Ogudu responded directly, writing, “I’m not one to address anything, whether true or false. But this type of comment on every single one of my posts is actually very detrimental to me actually being ‘Iyawo Somebody’, one day.”

She explained that although she usually ignores false narratives and public assumptions about her personal life, this ongoing misrepresentation has begun to affect her peace of mind and could harm her future prospects.

“It’s not a good look,” she added. “I actually really and truly dislike it. Let this be the last of this delusional type of comment, please. Thanks and God bless you.”

Ogudu, who has largely kept a low profile in recent years, seemed especially disturbed by the frequency and insistence of these assumptions. While she remains cordial in tone, her message carried a firm boundary, asking fans to respect her space and identity.

Despite their past relationship and shared parenting responsibilities, Shola Ogudu and Wizkid are not married, and she wants the public to understand and respect that reality.

Her reaction shows a woman trying to assert control over her narrative in a space where fans often blur fiction with fact.

The post has since stirred conversation online, with many users expressing support for her and condemning the fan’s behaviour. It remains a powerful reminder that public figures, especially women, continue to fight for their voice to be heard in the age of digital overfamiliarity.
