Segun Ogungbe addressed the Segun Ogungbe wife babymama rumour while appearing as a guest on a recent programme, where the actor spoke candidly about speculation surrounding his personal life.

The Yoruba film star clarified that both women had never shared a close relationship at any point, contrary to what had been widely reported online.

“My wife and my babymama were never friends. The rumour of them being friends was a lie that was generated from social media,” Segun Ogungbe said during the interview.

The actor further revealed that the story originated from an individual who admired him and had previously expressed a desire to marry him.

According to Segun Ogungbe, the woman allegedly began spreading the claim after discovering that he had impregnated another woman outside wedlock.

Segun Ogungbe explained that the admirer had often supported his film projects financially and became upset when she learned about the pregnancy.

“She had always been on my neck to marry her but I said I would never get married to more than one wife,” Segun Ogungbe said.

“Eventually I got someone else pregnant outside wedlock and when she heard she got really pissed.”

The Nollywood actor added that the woman subsequently went online to claim that his wife and Wunmi Ajiboye were friends, a narrative that was later amplified by blogs.

“She got pissed and went online to say that my wife and baby mama were friends and blogs picked it up from there. It’s not true,” Segun Ogungbe said.
