Portable Criticises Cubana Chief Priest after the controversial singer openly challenged the socialite’s comments on the sentencing of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu.

The dispute unfolded on Instagram after Cubana Chief Priest issued a public appeal to President Bola Tinubu, urging him to review Kanu’s life sentence.

Portable, whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, reacted sharply, accusing the businessman of showing concern only because of his recent closeness to the President’s son, Seyi Tinubu.

In a heated remark under the post, the singer suggested that Cubana Chief Priest had benefitted financially from his political associations and was therefore speaking from a position of self-interest rather than genuine advocacy.

His comments carried an unmistakable tone of disdain, adding a dramatic edge to an already sensitive national conversation.

Portable wrote that the entrepreneur had failed to raise Kanu’s situation privately while enjoying access to political figures, insisting that such behaviour exposed what he described as selective activism.
