Nicki Minaj Opens Up on Why She Left Church After Fame Took Off

Nicki Minaj stopped going to church due to her busy career schedule, but says her relationship with God remains strong

American rapper Nicki Minaj has revealed that she stopped attending church after her music career became more demanding.

The rapper shared the reason during a recent episode of The Bryce Crawford Podcast, explaining that her decision was not caused by a change in her beliefs.

Nicki Minaj said her work schedule, especially weekend performances, made it difficult for her to attend Sunday services.

She explained that after her career gained momentum, late-night performances on Fridays and Saturdays often left her exhausted and unable to wake up for church the next day.

The rapper, however, stressed that leaving church attendance behind did not affect her relationship with God.

She said she continues to maintain her faith and is still focused on growing spiritually despite admitting that consistency remains a personal challenge.

Nicki Minaj added that her faith continues to deepen as she reflects on her journey and personal growth.
