Speaking on the latest episode of the Echo Podcast, the 42-year-old music mogul admitted he once expected a different path in life.

“I never thought I would be 40-something and not be married,” he said.

“Maybe that’s the one I lost. If it comes, it comes. If it doesn’t, I’m totally fine.”

Don Jazzy added that he has now made peace with the reality of his situation and remains content with his life as it is.

In 2021, Don Jazzy shocked fans when he revealed he was once briefly married in 2003 at the age of 20. The union ended in divorce just two years later.

He cited his dedication to music as a major reason for the split.

“I was so focused on music that I neglected my marriage.

I was very young and had no idea how to balance both,” he explained in a past interview.

Don Jazzy has been candid about his approach to relationships over the years. In a previous interview, he admitted that monogamy doesn’t come naturally to him, saying, “I can’t be with just one woman.”

Despite public speculation surrounding his romantic life, the producer behind the success of stars like Rema, Ayra Starr, and Johnny Drille appears content with his current priorities — growing Mavin Records and mentoring the next generation of African music talent.
