Carter Efe denies abandoning Kolu, claims he still sent money recently and accuses him of poor financial decisions in viral fallout

Nigerian skitmaker and streamer Carter Efe has denied allegations that he abandoned his former associate Kolu, escalating an online dispute that has drawn widespread attention.

The controversy began after Kolu publicly accused Carter Efe of withdrawing financial and professional support following their reported fallout, claiming he was no longer taken to events or assisted financially.

In a livestream response, Carter Efe rejected the claims and insisted that he had continued to support Kolu, including sending money as recently as the previous week.

He also presented what he described as evidence of financial transfers, arguing that the allegations did not reflect the reality of their recent interactions.

Carter Efe further accused Kolu of poor financial discipline, alleging that he frequently spends money on women despite receiving support from friends and associates.

“Kolu likes women too much. God will punish him. He sends money to women, and many of them have deceived him in Lekki,” he said.

He also alleged that Kolu purchased a Honda vehicle for ₦8 million and has since spent about ₦15 million on repairs, describing it as evidence of financial mismanagement.

“He bought a Honda for ₦8 million and has already spent about ₦15 million repairing it. I told him to work, but he refused,” Carter Efe added.

The public exchange has divided social media users, with some backing Carter Efe’s account of events while others have called for both parties to resolve their differences privately.
