MrBeast marries Thea Booysen in a private Necker Island ceremony attended by close friends and family after their 2024 engagement

American YouTube star Jimmy Donaldson, popularly known as MrBeast, has married South African content creator and author Thea Booysen in a private island ceremony attended by close friends and family.

The 28-year-old internet personality, who holds the title of the world’s most-subscribed YouTuber, announced the marriage on Instagram by sharing photographs from the celebration.

“I found Mrs Beast and it was the best day of my life,” Donaldson wrote.

The celebration reportedly took place at Necker Island, the private Caribbean retreat owned by British billionaire Richard Branson.

Around 70 guests attended the week-long wedding celebration, which began on July 14 and included activities such as kitesurfing and snorkelling before the couple exchanged vows in a private ceremony.

The wedding featured several memorable fashion moments, with Donaldson wearing a formal suit while Booysen appeared in an elegant long lace wedding gown before later changing into a shorter reception outfit.

The couple also shared images of themselves wearing matching white casual outfits during the celebrations.

The ceremony was officiated by an ordained family friend, keeping the occasion personal and intimate for the couple and their closest supporters.

Donaldson and Booysen first met in South Africa in 2022 after a mutual friend invited her to dinner.

Their relationship developed over time before the YouTube star proposed on Christmas Day in 2024.

Booysen, a content creator and author, has built her own online following through discussions around psychology, gaming and digital culture.
