Bobrisky Slams Nigeria over US-Iran War Response

Bobrisky criticizes Nigeria for failing to evacuate citizens during the US-Iran war, highlighting government inaction and misplaced priorities while bandits act freely

Popular Nigerian social media personality Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, widely known as Bobrisky, has criticized the Nigerian government over its handling of citizens during the ongoing US-Iran conflict.

Taking to Instagram, Bobrisky expressed frustration that while other countries quickly evacuated their nationals from Iran, Nigeria had yet to deploy aircraft to rescue its citizens. He questioned whether Nigerian citizens were expected to “die with the war” and lamented the government’s silence and inaction.

Bobrisky also highlighted what he described as misplaced priorities within Nigeria, pointing out that bandits openly flaunt ransom money online without facing consequences, whereas agencies like the EFCC focus on cracking down on people spraying money at parties.

“Only in Nigeria bandit will collect ransom and still post their face and the cash online because they know Nigeria govt have no power over them. EFCC won’t see those ones and go after them but will go after people for spraying money in a party… I regret I was born in Nigeria. Shame!!!!!!” he wrote.

The post triggered widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians agreeing that Bobrisky’s message underscores serious concerns about governance and security priorities in the country.
