Wizkid’s 14-year-old son, Boluwatife, tops Apple Music Nigeria charts with debut EP Champion Arrival, earning praise from his superstar father.

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Wizkid has expressed immense pride in his 14-year-old son, Boluwatife Balogun, after his debut EP, Champion Arrival, soared to No. 1 on Apple Music Nigeria’s Top Albums within hours of release.

The five-track project, released on November 11, has not only topped Nigerian charts but also charted in 16 countries and reached No. 71 on the UK Apple Music Top Albums, making Boluwatife the youngest African artist to achieve the feat.

The rising star, supported by his mother Sola Ogudu and his management team, shared behind-the-scenes studio clips leading up to the release, generating massive anticipation among fans.

Reacting to the milestone, Wizkid — spotted courtside at a New York Knicks game — couldn’t hide his excitement.

“We love it, man. He’s my kid, you know,” the proud father said with a smile.
