Kizz Daniel breaks silence on missing Paris concert, citing flight delays and dispute between tour agent and event promoter as reasons

Afrobeats superstar Kizz Daniel has addressed the controversy surrounding his missed Paris concert, explaining that a dispute between his tour agent and the event promoter caused the mishap.

In an Instagram story, the singer clarified that he was ready to perform but missed his flight due to delays linked to his agent, Olamide Baron, who was trying to resolve payment issues with the promoter.

According to Kizz Daniel, Baron had sold the show to another promoter, who allegedly breached the contract by not paying the remaining balance.

“First, this wasn’t my fault. Whatever clips y’all are seeing is a beef between the tour Agent @olamidebaron and the show promoter.

I was paid to come perform in Paris in full… we couldn’t make the flight due to delays from my agent,” Kizz Daniel explained.

He added that despite arriving at the venue, the concert could not proceed because the organisers had already closed for the night:

“I came to the venue still because I wanted to perform, unfortunately the venue closes by 11pm according to the promoters… I tried my best to make this run a smooth one. But sometimes ‘e get as e be.’”

Kizz Daniel also highlighted his commitment to fans, citing previous performances in Italy and Sweden where he went on stage despite late hours. He assured fans that he is prepared for upcoming shows in Amsterdam and Cologne.

“As for Amsterdam, I’m here and ready. The promoter gave 3am as performance time… Cologne, the promoters gave 10pm as performance time and I will be there. Excited,” he said.

This statement seeks to clarify that the missed Paris show was not due to negligence or personal demands, but rather a logistical dispute beyond his control.
