VeryDarkMan diss track controversy erupts online as he attacks Governor Okpebholo, Portable, and Prophet Fufeyin, igniting strong fan reactions across Instagram

Controversial Nigerian activist and online commentator, VeryDarkMan (VDM), has ignited another firestorm with the release of a diss track targeting high-profile figures.

The song, shared via Instagram, calls out Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo, street-hop artist Portable, and preacher Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin.

In a scathing verse aimed at Okpebholo, VDM referenced the governor’s WAEC result that allegedly showed an E8. “E8, WAEC result of a governor. INEC, shame on you,” he rapped, criticising the electoral body for clearing him to contest.

The track also revived his long-running feud with singer Portable. VDM mocked him over an alleged tricycle theft and a recent run-in with the police that resulted in his detention.

Prophet Fufeyin, founder of Christ Mercyland Deliverance Ministry, was another target. VDM slammed his “healing water” and spiritual merchandise, accusing the preacher of exploiting vulnerable followers.

Social media users quickly reacted. One fan wrote, “VDM may God protect you for us,” while another said, “VDM na werey.” Reactions ranged from applause for his fearlessness to criticism over crossing moral lines.
