Uzor Arukwe Bambam rumours dismissed as false; actor warns individuals spreading claims will face consequences for reputational damage

Actor Uzor Arukwe has publicly rejected false rumours and baseless accusations concerning his professional collaboration with colleague Bambam, amid ongoing speculation over a marital crisis between Bambam and her husband, musician Teddy A.

The rumours appear to have originated from discussions surrounding the viral 2025 YouTube film Love In Every Word, in which Uzor Arukwe and Bambam starred.

Arukwe clarified that the claims linking him to any personal or marital issues were entirely untrue.

In a statement shared on social media, Uzor Arukwe revealed that a specific account responsible for spreading the allegations has been identified.

He warned that the individual would face legal and professional consequences for attempting to damage his reputation.

“A specific account has been identified to spread false rumors and baseless accusations about me and my professional engagement with another colleague in the industry. I choose not to quote the account directly, as I refuse to give such accounts the engagement they seek at the risk of jail time,” he wrote.

“Believe me when I say this: that individual will be made a scapegoat so others learn to respect boundaries and refrain from chasing clout and Elon Musk money at the expense of damaging someone else’s reputation,” Uzor Arukwe added.

The controversy arises as Bambam and Teddy A’s marriage continues to attract scrutiny.

While some have linked on-screen acting roles to personal tension, Bambam has remained largely silent on the speculation, posting only a brief social media video.

Teddy A has also addressed past domestic violence allegations, denying them as false.

Uzor Arukwe emphasised that his focus remains on professional engagements and warned the public to avoid spreading or amplifying unverified claims.
