Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has celebrated herself on Mother’s Day with an emotional message about motherhood, love and resilience.

The actress shared photos and video clips from her Mother’s Day treat on Instagram, where she described a mother’s love as “one of Heaven’s purest reflections”.

Tonto Dikeh said mothers remain nurturing, powerful and unwavering despite the burdens they carry daily for their families.

In the heartfelt post, the actress praised women who lead their homes with faith, patience and grace, adding that mothers deserve to be celebrated for the sacrifices they make.

“A mother’s love is one of Heaven’s purest reflections, nurturing, powerful and unwavering,” Tonto Dikeh wrote.

The actress also noted that mothers teach love, strength and faith through their actions, even without words.

A touching highlight from the celebration was the collection of cheerful moments shared by Tonto Dikeh alongside her son during the special occasion.

The post comes amid renewed public attention surrounding the actress and her former partner, Olakunle Churchill, after recent reports suggested both parties had reconciled.

On Mother’s Day, however, Olakunle Churchill publicly celebrated his wife, Rosy Meurer, praising her for being an “amazing mother and incredible woman”.

Earlier in March, Tonto Dikeh had stirred reactions online after appreciating Olakunle Churchill for making her a mother.

Responding to criticism that followed the gesture, the actress maintained that gratitude should not be dictated by public opinion, insisting that people should feel free to appreciate the fathers of their children.
