Tiwa Savage hits 800 million Spotify streams, becoming the third Nigerian female artist to reach the milestone and a top-streamed Afrobeats star

Nigerian singer and songwriter Tiwa Savage has reached a major career milestone, hitting 800 million streams on Spotify.

The 45-year-old, widely known as the ‘Queen of Afrobeats,’ becomes the third Nigerian female artist to surpass this streaming landmark, according to The Debut Hub on X.

“Tiwa Savage has now surpassed 800 MILLION streams across all credits on Spotify! — She becomes the 24th Nigerian artist to reach this milestone (3rd female),” the post stated.

The milestone places her among Nigeria’s top-streamed artists, with Wizkid and other leading names topping the list.

Savage is now the first Nigerian female artist to surpass four billion cumulative streams when factoring in all contributions.
