Tife Balogun Stuns Fans with Debut EP Champion’s Arrival

Tife Balogun Champion’s Arrival has officially made waves across social media as Wizkid’s first son, Boluwatife Ayodeji Balogun, debuts his first music project to widespread excitement.

The 14-year-old announced the release of his five-track EP titled Champion’s Arrival on Instagram on Tuesday, writing, “The Champion has arrived. My debut EP ‘Champion’s Arrival’ is out now on all platforms.”
His announcement quickly gained traction, amassing over 45,000 likes and 4,000 comments within hours, as fans and industry figures hailed the teenager’s confidence and sound.
The young artist, popularly known as Tife Balogun, had earlier teased the project with a short video on 28 October, hinting at a self-assured musical persona. In the clip, he declared, “Shoutout to the OGs in the game, but it’s time to pass on the baton. I’ve got zero competition.”
Tife’s mother, Shola Ogudu, shared her excitement and pride, commenting, “Super proud of you, SON!!!! We give God all the glory,” and linking the EP in her Instagram bio.
The project, which includes songs such as Champion Montana, Grind, Superstar, Champion Sound, and Champion, is now streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Audiomack, and Deezer.
Social media has been abuzz with reactions to Tife’s debut, with many describing his delivery as beyond his years. One user, @iamsanchez005, wrote, “Abi nah Wizkid write this song… too mature for Bolu nah. Omo see music. There’s no way this boy, 14, that song ‘Grind’ is crazy.”
