Stanley Ontop Raises Alarm Over Angela Okorie Re-Arrest

Stanley Ontop warns of an alleged plan to re-arrest Nollywood actress Angela Okorie after her release from Suleja Prison despite meeting bail conditions

Nollywood actor Stanley Ontop has raised concerns over a possible re-arrest of actress Angela Okorie following her release from Suleja Prison.

Angela was initially detained for allegedly defaming actress Mercy Johnson and granted ₦5 million bail by the Federal High Court in Abuja.

Despite meeting her bail conditions, Angela remains in prison due to a delay in the verification of her surety’s residential address.

Stanley Ontop revealed that police officers are stationed outside the prison, allegedly waiting to re-arrest her following a new petition.

Ontop criticized the Nigeria Police Force for what he described as a lack of professionalism, questioning the practice of arresting citizens instead of following proper procedures such as invitations.

He urged authorities to ensure nothing happens to Angela upon her release.
