Popular Nigerian singer Omah Lay has spoken candidly about his mental state and creative process, describing himself as “crazy” during a recent interview.

Omah Lay mental health interview took place on the PlayKissXtra podcast, where the artist reflected on how music plays a central role in his emotional well-being.

He explained that creating music and art is the only way he feels truly fulfilled, adding that it helps him cope with his thoughts and emotions.

According to him, his creativity is deeply tied to his mindset, and making music remains his main source of happiness.

Omah Lay also shared his ambitions, stating that he hopes to become one of the richest African artists in the coming years while building impactful ventures.

He named artists such as Wizkid, Burna Boy, Drake, The Weeknd, and Harry Styles as his inspirations.
