The actor shared his concerns via his Instagram Story and later expanded on the issue in a post, where he compared global natural disasters to what he described as avoidable governance-related failures in Nigeria.

“Other parts of the world have natural disasters. Nigeria has a government disaster,” Kunle Remi wrote, in a post that quickly drew widespread reactions online.

He further referenced the continued captivity of schoolchildren and teachers allegedly abducted in Oyo State, noting that families have remained in anguish for weeks without resolution.

“40 days and families are still torn apart. Children are still suffering simply because they were born in Nigeria,” he wrote.

Kunle Remi also questioned the effectiveness of security operations, expressing concern that armed groups appear to move freely in some areas despite ongoing threats to public safety.

“Teachers are still in captivity instead of in their classrooms. Families remain in fear, grief, and dismay,” he added.

The actor’s comments reflect growing public concern over insecurity, particularly incidents involving abductions and attacks on schools and rural communities.

His remarks have added to ongoing conversations about the role of security agencies and the urgency of government response.
