Speaking during a video broadcast, the skitmaker revealed that her romantic expectations have often been shaped by fictional characters from movies and television dramas rather than real-life relationships.

According to Kemi Ikuseedun, she has repeatedly found herself emotionally attached to characters portrayed on screen, making it difficult to connect with potential partners in reality.

“The reason why I am still single is because I went to go and fall in love with a fictional character. And it is not only me, a lot of women fall for fictional characters. But where are we going to see him?” she said.

The content creator went on to reference South Korean actor Lee Min-ho, whom she admired through his portrayal of Gu Jun-pyo in the popular television series Boys Over Flowers.

“I am almost 30, and I am still waiting for Lee Min Ho. What if I meet Lee Min Ho in real life and he is not the same as the person in ‘Boys Over Flowers’?” she joked.

“Honestly, I am still single because it is only fictional characters I keep falling for.”

Her remarks quickly resonated with many fans online, particularly women who admitted to having celebrity crushes or becoming emotionally invested in fictional characters portrayed in films, television dramas and novels.

Mummy Wa rose to prominence through her appearances in comedy skits, particularly alongside fellow content creator Mr Macaroni, where her portrayal of the humorous “Mummy Wa” character earned widespread recognition and a loyal fan base.

Beyond comedy, the entertainer has built a successful career as an actress, influencer and digital content creator, becoming one of the most recognisable faces in Nigeria’s online entertainment industry.
