Lateef shared photographs from the celebration on social media a day after the event, accompanying the images with a short but affectionate message to his wife.

“Obsessed with this woman,” the actor wrote.

Mo Bimpe responded warmly in the comments, returning the sentiment to her husband.

“Obsessed with you too, my king. Baba ETA,” she replied.

The exchange came shortly after the couple hosted a grand thanksgiving celebration for their three sons, Rahman, Raheem and Rakeeb, in Lekki, Lagos. The event brought together family members, friends and several prominent figures from Nigeria’s entertainment industry.

The couple announced the birth of their triplets on May 1, 2026. Lateef previously explained that he had chosen to remain quiet around the birth because he wanted to protect and embrace what he described as the greatest blessing of his life.

The thanksgiving provided an opportunity for the couple to publicly celebrate the new chapter in their family life after months of anticipation surrounding their journey to parenthood.

Among those who attended the celebration were Funke Akindele, Waje, Mercy Aigbe, Bukky Wright, Jide Awobona and Eniola Badmus.

Fuji music star K1 De Ultimate also performed at the event, while Funke Akindele offered prayers for the family.

A particularly memorable moment came when K1 De Ultimate presented the couple with bundles of cash while performing, drawing cheers from guests.

The celebration also attracted attention for its elaborate traditional fashion. Lateef and Mo Bimpe appeared in coordinated burgundy outfits before changing into another traditional ensemble for the occasion.

The couple, who married in December 2021, have remained one of the recognisable married pairs in Nollywood.

Their relationship has frequently attracted public interest, particularly because both have maintained active careers in the film industry.

The thanksgiving therefore carried significance beyond the glamorous gathering. It marked a joyful and deeply personal moment for Lateef and Mo Bimpe as they celebrated the arrival of their three sons with those closest to them.
