The American rapper had been accused of both verbal and physical assault stemming from a 2018 altercation.

However, the jury found no merit in the case, handing Cardi B a swift courtroom victory.

Speaking after the verdict, the Grammy-winning artist did not hold back:

“I work all day, and I work hard for my money, for my kids, for the people that I take care of. So don’t you ever think that you’re going to sue me, and I’m just going to settle.”

Cardi B emphasized that she refuses to be a target for frivolous lawsuits, adding that she will always fight to protect her name and earnings.

In a move showing restraint and maturity, she also urged fans and the public not to harass Ms. Ellis or her family:

“Leave her alone. It’s over. Don’t bother her.”

The Cardi B assault case cleared verdict is the latest in a string of legal wins for the rapper, who has consistently defended her reputation in courtrooms just as fiercely as she does in her music.
