Woli Arole braless comments ignite debate as the comedian condemns women attending events without bras, calling it indecent and harmful to moral values
Woli Arole braless comments have gone viral, sparking a heated debate across social media after the comedian publicly condemned the growing trend of women attending public events without wearing bras.
In a strongly worded Instagram post on Tuesday, the comedian and actor described the fashion choice as “highly indecent,” warning that the growing normalisation of such appearances could erode societal moral standards.
“It is highly indecent for a lady to go out to a public event and wear clothes without bra, for God’s sake,” Arole wrote.
He shared that he had witnessed the trend firsthand at weddings and birthday parties, where guests appeared without bras — something he considers inappropriate for such gatherings.
“You see wedding guests without bra. Haaaaa! Birthday guests without bra. It’s bad!” he lamented.
“Morality Is at Risk” – Arole Warns
In a follow-up video, Arole doubled down on his position, expressing concern that silence on issues like this could lead to a “collapse of morality” among younger generations.
“With the way things are going, if we don’t speak up about some things, we might not have morality again,” he said.
The comedian further argued that braless dressing is “distracting and inappropriate” in public spaces, stating that such appearances could even be disruptive during formal events like weddings.
“It’s Not ‘My Body, My Choice’ Everywhere”
Challenging the popular argument that women should dress as they choose, Arole posed a rhetorical question to critics:
“Can you go bra-less to an interview? A corporate organisation that wants to pay two million. You say, ‘my body, my choice’? We are glorifying nonsense, madness, insanity.”
He also slammed anyone defending braless outings, insisting,
“Anyone that defends braless outing is also indecent in her thought.”
Arole ended by reaffirming his stance, promising not to back down despite the backlash:
“Me, I will speak up. Because we will lack sense in the generation.”
While some online users have applauded Arole for his “boldness,” others have criticized his tone, calling it judgmental and dismissive of individual rights.
The discussion continues to trend online, with strong opinions on both sides — signaling a deeper societal divide over evolving fashion norms and cultural values.
