Mr Eazi success advice for young people was discipline, patience, fear of God and marrying a good wife, shared in a street interview with Temi Otedola

Afrobeats singer and entrepreneur Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, known as Mr Eazi, said Mr Eazi success for young people rests on discipline, patience, fear of God and marrying well.

Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade spoke in a street interview with his wife, Temi Otedola, in a clip that circulated on X on Thursday 10 September 2026.

Asked for a character trait that supports success, he answered: “Marry a good wife.” He then listed three further qualities. “I would say discipline, patience, and fear of God.”

He also talked about doubt from other people, a pressure many young Nigerians feel when they start a career or a business.

He called “the difficulty of unbelief when you are being second-guessed” one of the hardest parts of his own path in music and business. “You can turn it into something that drives you as well.”

The remarks are personal counsel, not a programme. Marriage is not available or desirable to everyone who wants to get on. Discipline, patience and faith are older themes in his public talk. What travelled online was the blunt first answer.
