The critic on X argued that the teenager’s team had not done enough to build a fan base for his debut project.

Oluwanishola Ogudu responded by stressing that Boluwatife remains a young student whose academics must take priority.

She explained that her son needs balance as he develops both personally and artistically, noting that she will not allow pressure to overshadow his growth.

She added that comparing Boluwatife to established artists, including his father, is unnecessary and unfair. According to her, the teenager deserves to progress at his own pace.

She said: “Big love to everyone showing support, but comparisons aren’t needed. Champz is 14, balancing academics and his passion with serious discipline. His dad is a legend and that’s facts, but this is Champz’s journey, his grind and his future. No pressure.”
