Veeiye on dating has sparked conversation after the reality TV star and media personality shared her candid thoughts on the challenges of love life in Lagos.

On her Instagram page, Veeiye revealed that becoming a “baby mama” is something she is determined to avoid.

Drawing inspiration from a tweet by Offset, she emphasised the importance of making careful choices in relationships to prevent heartbreak and stigma.

“Dating is hard, but dating in Lagos… There’s a tweet that Offset made that haunts me to this day. I don’t want to put myself in a position where a man can tell me such (a baby mama),” she said.

The former Big Brother Naija star explained that her goal isn’t to judge women in such situations but to avoid circumstances that could negatively affect her mental health.

“It’s my mission in life to avoid the wrong man getting me pregnant. And it is not to say that I’m better than the women in that position, it is simply me avoiding certain situations that will put me in a state of psychosis,” Veeiye added.

She also stressed the importance of making the right choice when selecting a life partner, admitting, “I’m stubborn and I’m hard headed but I’m not stupid. I need to make sure that when it comes to choosing a life partner, I do it right.”
