UNILAG’s Olayinka Atobiloye graduates with highest CGPA 4.85/5.00, only female First Class in EEE department

Olayinka Atobiloye, a graduate of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has made headlines after breaking two major records in her department.

She graduated from the Electrical, Electronics & Computer Engineering department with a CGPA of 4.85/5.00, the highest ever recorded in the program, and emerged as the only female First Class graduate in the department.

Olayinka shared her achievement on social media, celebrating her journey and highlighting other notable accomplishments.

These include multiple awards and scholarships from Total, PICFI, NLNG, ISDB, among others; international software engineering internships at Goldman Sachs, Palantir, and Bloomberg; founding GitHub Campus Experts; leading DevSprint, a student-led algorithmic contest; hosting STEM outreach programs and cybersecurity hackathons; and serving as Deputy Chair of the Engineering Career Expo (ECX).
