The former Big Brother Naija housemate shared her honest experience in a Snapchat post on Monday, September 15, 2025, explaining that she never enjoyed working a typical 9–5 job abroad.
“I hated working a 9–5 in America so bad. I would spend months counting down to Detty December, God abeg,” Tolani confessed, referring to the festive season in Nigeria that she eagerly awaited each year.
Her dissatisfaction with the grind led to constant reflection on whether to quit her job and relocate permanently. “My everyday thoughts — I’m happier in Nigeria, should I just quit my job and move there?” she added.
