Todimu Adegoke Selected for EFM Toolbox Programme

Nigerian filmmaker Todimu Adegoke has been sel ected for the 2026 EFM Toolbox Programme, gaining mentorship and access to the global film market

Nigerian filmmaker and producer Todimu Adegoke has been selected to participate in the 2026 European Film Market (EFM) Toolbox Programme, a prestigious international initiative held alongside the Berlinale.

The programme supports underrepresented producers worldwide by providing access to global film markets and practical tools to advance international careers.

The EFM Toolbox Programme offers participants one-on-one mentorship from experienced industry professionals and in-depth market training.

It runs from November 2025 to February 2026, combining virtual sessions with in-person meetings in Berlin, where emerging producers engage with buyers, financiers and collaborators.

Unlike open-call programmes, participants are nominated by partner organisations rather than selected directly by the EFM.

Adegoke was nominated by Joy Efe Odiete, award-winning CEO of Blue Pictures Entertainment and a veteran African film distributor, producer and sales agent.

Odiete has contributed significantly to promoting African cinema internationally, including through initiatives such as the NextGen Mini Conference, which equips emerging filmmakers with mentorship, industry knowledge and pitching opportunities.

With this selection, Todimu Adegoke joins a global cohort of producers poised to strengthen cross-cultural collaborations, deepen engagement with international buyers, and contribute to the evolving landscape of world cinema.
