The marathon show, held between November 27 and 29, 2025, featured more than 1,200 unique tricks, including card routines, mentalism, and large-scale illusions.

Guinness World Records rules required that no trick be repeated within four hours, making the feat both a creative and physical challenge.

FaddotheGreat surpassed the previous record set by British performer Richard Smith, whose 30-hour and 45-minute performance had stood unbeaten since 2004.

The Nigerian illusionist described the achievement as a milestone not just personally, but for magic across Africa.

“This record is more than a personal milestone. It is about changing perceptions of magic in Africa and positioning it as a respected art form,” FaddotheGreat said.
