TG Omori kidney disease battle has pushed the renowned Nigerian music video director into a candid reflection on the high cost of medical care in the country.

The award-winning cinematographer, born ThankGod Omori Jesam, revealed that his medical bills over the past six months were equivalent to the price of two Mercedes-Benz GLE SUVs and a C300.

“Saw my 6 months health expenses, Omo 2 GLE and one small C300 bro! Health is wealth true true,” Omori wrote.

He also sympathized with ordinary Nigerians facing the same condition, describing the situation as heartbreaking given the country’s minimum wage.

“Dialysis is about 100k plus per session, sometimes you need 3 sessions in a week, minimum wage is 70k. Knowing this fact brought me tears in the hospital cause no hope for the common man,” he lamented.

Omori disclosed that he is working on his first major glasses design line, with part of the proceeds going to support kidney patients who cannot afford dialysis.

His revelation has drawn attention to the growing health burden in Nigeria, where the cost of managing chronic diseases like kidney failure often places patients and their families under severe financial strain.
