Portable Iyabo Ojo controversy erupts after singer criticises actress for praising single mothers and giving advice on marriage

Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has criticised Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo over her praise of single mothers.

In a now-viral video, Portable verbally attacked Ojo, claiming she is not in a position to advise younger generations on marriage.

“Which advice do you even want to give to the younger ones getting married? That they should be giving birth for different men? One child for one man, three children for three different men?” Portable said, suggesting that single mothers have the tendency to be promiscuous.

The singer’s comments have generated widespread discussion online, reigniting debates about parenting, morality, and celebrity influence.

Iyabo Ojo had previously defended single mothers, calling herself the “president of single mothers” and expressing pride in supporting them.
