In an interview with content creator Goodybagg, Ozonna acknowledged that his visibility and confidence naturally attract negative attention but insisted he would not change to please others.

“I think it just kind of comes with it. Anybody that is visible and confident, you are going to get hate. I am not going to apologise to them for not liking me, I am going to keep being myself,” he stated.

He added, “I do not do this to be liked by everyone because I have a very strong sense of myself, and I am not willing to apologise for that. So I am not going to stop doing anything just because someone does not like me. We are billions of people on the planet, and we are all different.”

The interview comes after Ozonna faced online reactions in September following his participation in the viral ‘What’s in your bag’ challenge. While many praised his authenticity for sharing the contents of his bag, others criticised and speculated about his personal life, including comments on his parenting and sexuality.
