Senator Ned Nwoko Denies Blocking Regina Daniels’ Access

Senator Ned Nwoko denies preventing Regina Daniels from seeing their children, citing court-ordered rehab and stable care environment

Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North Senatorial District, has denied claims by his estranged wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, that he is deliberately restricting her access to their two sons, Munir and Khalifa.

The statement, titled “Take the Window of Quietude for Therapy,” was released on Tuesday by Nwoko’s communications team.

The Senator’s team described Daniels’ social media posts as misleading and inconsistent with established family practices, noting that sharing images and videos of the children has been a routine household activity.

The statement added that Daniels has previously posted content involving not only her own children but also those of Nwoko’s other wives without raising privacy concerns.

On the custody matter, Nwoko’s statement alleged that Daniels’ absence has been voluntary, with social engagements and nightlife cited as factors limiting her involvement.

He confirmed that the children are currently in a stable environment prioritising care, routine, and emotional wellbeing.

Further, the statement disclosed that an Abuja court has mandated Regina Daniels to undergo drug rehabilitation and assessment by the Abuja Social Welfare Department before regaining access to her children. The case has been adjourned to 4 February 2026 for substantive hearing.

The communication underscored Nwoko’s position that the children’s welfare remains paramount, and that allegations of social media exploitation or denial of access are unfounded.
