The Lagos traffic rant has sparked widespread conversation after the comedian and Delta State Governor’s aide shared his frustration over being stuck in traffic for over five hours.

In a fiery video circulating on social media, Mr. Jollof — real name Freedom Atsepoyi — didn’t hold back as he called out Lagos State’s Commissioner for Transport, Oluwaseun Osiyemi.
“You owe Lagosians an apology. You go tell us wetin happen for that road,” Mr. Jollof said, clearly exasperated after what he described as a mentally draining experience between Victoria Island and Lekki.
He revealed in a caption that he spent precisely 5 hours and 35 minutes in gridlock, warning newcomers to brace for the city’s “mad traffic.”
In another post, he was seen trekking after abandoning his vehicle, further highlighting the severity of the ordeal.
Taking things up a notch, Mr. Jollof declared that no amount of luxury could tempt him to relocate to Lagos.
“Give me a penthouse, 10 million US dollars in cash, a yacht, and a Lamborghini, and I won’t relocate to Lagos,” he wrote.
