Mohbad’s Father, Joseph Aloba, has made fresh and disturbing allegations against music executive Naira Marley, further intensifying the ongoing public scrutiny surrounding the late singer’s untimely death.

In an emotional interview with Sunday Scoop, Aloba claimed his son was subjected to repeated maltreatment and abuse while under the Marlian Records label, headed by Naira Marley.

He also dismissed speculations that his previous meetings with the label boss were financially motivated.

“Life is much more than just what I want to eat,” he stated powerfully.

According to Aloba, one of the label’s team members once reported that Naira Marley had physically assaulted Mohbad.

Despite attempts to reconcile the issues, Aloba said Marley remained disrespectful even during conversations meant to resolve the conflict.

Aloba also addressed rumors surrounding Mohbad’s financial transactions, confirming that his son was sending money from an unfamiliar account.

He recalled advising Mohbad to only use his personal account to avoid complications — a matter Naira Marley had also complained about.

The statement follows Naira Marley’s recent appeal for police to reopen the case into Mohbad’s death and his own public denial of any wrongdoing, posted via his YouTube channel.
