The accident occurred on November 19 at the Impact Challenger Hall, just hours after the National Costume segment.

Gabrielle stumbled and fell following her walk in the evening gown portion.

While the live broadcast did not capture the incident, audience videos show people rushing to assist her.

She was immediately stretchered out of the venue and taken to Paolo Rangsit Hospital for medical attention.

Miss Universe Jamaica confirmed that Gabrielle is not suffering from any life-threatening injuries, although doctors continue to conduct tests to ensure a full recovery.

The organization asked the public to “stay upbeat, lift her in prayer, and send positive thoughts” during her recuperation.

Gabrielle Alexis Henry, who is also a practicing ophthalmologist, runs a foundation that provides educational and economic support for blind and visually impaired individuals.

If her recovery proceeds smoothly, she is expected to participate in the coronation event on November 21 at the same venue.
